How it works
- Pay securely on PayFast.
- Your download link is emailed to the address you give PayFast.
- Open the file, replace the sample rows with your own numbers, and read your plan.
All sample data inside the file is made up.
Questions
Do I need Excel?
No. It also opens in Google Sheets (free) and LibreOffice. A phone with the Excel or Sheets app works.
Is my debt data sent anywhere?
No. It is a file on your device. We never see your numbers.
How is interest calculated?
Annual rate divided by 12, on the opening balance each month. Your creditor may add service fees or insurance, so use it as a plan and update the balances from your statements.
Will this get me out of debt?
It shows you the order and the dates for the money you put in. It does not pay or negotiate anything for you.
Is this debt counselling?
No. It is an education and calculation tool, not financial, legal or tax advice. Debt review is done by an NCR-registered debt counsellor.
Refund
Not what you expected? Email laafstylfamily@gmail.com within 7 days of buying and we will refund the full price you paid. We cover any payment fees. Please include the email you paid with. Refunds are handled by a person, so allow a working day or two.
